ROCKFORD (WREX)- Seven Rockford men now face charges of solicitation of a sexual act after an undercover sting by Rockford Police.
According to court records, a pre-trial is set to begin July 11th at 1:30 p.m., with the trial officially beginning on July 12th at 9 a.m.
All five juveniles have been returned to Dane County and will be going to the juvenile detention center on several charges.
Police say it happened just before 2 a.m Friday when a 20-year-old man was walking in the hallway of his apartment building on the 1900 block of N. Main St.
Cox is currently being held in the Winnebago County Jail on $250,000 bond.
The driver of the black vehicle was taken to the hospital with what police say are ‘serious, but not life-threatening injuries.’
The Illinois Prisoner Review Board unanimously voted Thursday morning to deny Curtis Brownell parole.
While officers were investigating, they found a vehicle had crashed into a house in the 1400 block of Elm St. along with a 20-year-old man who was shot.
Officers discovered the assault at a water park in March of 2015.
The incident happened in November of 2014.
Police say as two people were fighting, someone started shooting at one of the vehicles.
27-year-old David Iqbal and 51-year-old Dwayne Sundell are both charged with residential burglary.
The victim told police he was sitting in his vehicle when the suspect entered the passenger side and began going through the victim’s belongings.
