Ecstasy found during Freeport traffic stop

FREEPORT (WREX) — Freeport Police have arrested and charged a man after they found Ecstasy during a traffic stop in the city.

On Thursday, police pulled over a vehicle at Cherry Avenue and Clark Street. During the traffic stop, a police K9 detected drugs inside the vehicle.

During a search of the vehicle, police found 126 pills of MDMA, commonly referred to as Ecstasy, as well as a plastic bag containing approximately 4.5 grams of suspected MDMA powder.

The front seat passenger, 32-year-old Quinn Robinson, was taken in to custody. He was charged with unlwaful possession with intent to deliver. He’s in custody at the Stephenson County Jail.
