Man accused of robbing Roscoe bank identified, considered ‘armed and dangerous’

UPDATE: ROSCOE (WREX) — Authorities have identified the man accused of robbing a bank in Roscoe last month.

The FBI has issued an arrest warrant for Chad Udelhofen, 47, of Roscoe.

Police say Udelhofen walked into First National Bank and gave a clerk a note that implied he had a weapon on him. Udelhofen then left the bank with an unknown amount of money.

Police say Udelhofen may be driving a red Toyota with a license plate that reads “BB93951”

Authorities say Udelhofen is considered armed and dangerous. Anyone with information about Udelhofen’s whereabouts are asked to contact the Roscoe Police Department at 815-623-7338 or the FBI at 312-421-6700.

ROSCOE (WREX) — Roscoe Police looking for man who is accused of robbing a bank Monday morning.

Police say it happened at First National Bank in the 5300 block of Bridge St. around 9:10 a.m.

A man walked into the bank and gave a clerk a note that implied he had a weapon on him, according to police.

The man then walked out of the bank and drove away in a Maroon, four-door sedan. Authorities did not say how much was taken from the bank.

Roscoe Police are now asking the public for help in identifying the suspect.
