Woman indicted for allegedly abusing infant

ROCKFORD (WREX)- A Rockford woman is indicted for allegedly abusing an infant.

According to the Winnebago County State’s Attorney’s office, Porshay Paden was indicted on aggravated battery to a child and aggravated domestic battery charges.

In August, authorities say they found a five-month-old baby not breathing.

The child had multiple skull fractures and a brain injury, according to the state’s attorney’s office.

Paden is set to be arraigned on Friday.
