ROCHELLE (WREX)- A Rochelle embroidery shop and the Ogle County Sheriff’s Office are helping to spread awareness about Scott’s Law.
926 Custom Embroidery and deputies sold shirts with the words “Move Over Illinois” on them to create an education fund about Scott’s Law.
Scott’s Law, often known as the move over law, requires drivers to move over or slow down for vehicles on the side of the road.
Monday, the sheriff’s office announced they received a $1,000 donation from the shirt sales. That money will go to educate the public about Scott’s Law.
