RPS 205 board approves proposal for new security cameras

ROCKFORD (WREX) – New security cameras are coming to two Rockford high schools.

The RPS 205 school board approved a proposal on Tuesday for security cameras at Auburn and Guilford high schools. The project will update and add cameras at both locations. The bid that was considered is around $325,000.

Rockford East High School’s security measures were completed last Summer. Additional upgrades in the district are expected.
