Police say they responded to a call of a possible shooting victim in the 4600 block of Governors Drive. When officers arrived, they found a man suffering from several stab wounds.

Officers learned the victim was in his apartment in the 4600 block of Trevor Circle when four suspects forced their way in. Police say one of the suspects was armed with a handgun, but no shots were fired.

Police say the suspect was stabbed several times when a fight broke out between him and the suspects. The suspect was taken to the hospital. His injuries are considered non-life threatening.
