(NBC) — Another fashion retailer is planning to close all of its stores.
A Bloomberg report states Charming Charlie filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy and will close its approximately 260 stores. This is the second time the company has filed.
The Houston company has stores across the country. It is known for its colorful merchandise, selling products including handbags, scarves and jewelry.
Charming Charlie plans to have a going-out-of-business sale. The sale is expected to last two months and generate $30 million.
The company employs more than 3,000 employees.
There is a Charming Charlie inside the CherryVale Mall. 13 News has reached out to the mall and they said while they have not been told an exact closing day, they believe it will be at the end of August.
