Drake’s private jet touches down at Chicago Rockford International Airport

ROCKFORD (WREX)- The Boeing 767 dubbed “Air Drake” makes a stop in Rockford, though its unclear why.

The plane took off from John C. Munro Hamilton Airport at 3:17 p.m. eastern time and flew straight to RFD, landing at 3:28 p.m. central, according to FlightAware.com.

John C. Munro Hamilton Airport is in Hamilton, Canada, about 50 minutes away from Toronto.

13 WREX has reached out to multiple people asking why the plane is in Rockford, we have not heard back.

The rapper unveiled the 767 in May on his Instagram page.

Drake, a Toronto native, has been supportive of the Toronto Raptors, especially after their championship run. He even joked about him and Rockford Native Fred VanVleet looking alike.
