Rockford Ball Screw expands, adds 25 jobs

ROCKFORD (WREX) — Rockford Ball Screw is celebrating an expansion that it says will create more jobs.

The manufacturing business on 940 Southrock Dr. held a ribbon cutting ceremony on Thursday. The ceremony celebrated it adding a 30,000 square foot expansion onto its property.

The company said the expansion allows Rockford Ball Screw to expand into new marks and creates an additional 25 jobs.

“It’s fun to come in here and see the lights and the energy,” Rockford Ball Screw President & Owner, Linda McGary said.

Rockford Ball Screw manufactures ball screws and guard rails. The company said it’s hiring. You can find more information about employment here.
