Two women arrested for allegedly violating massage licensing act in Belvidere

BELVIDERE (WREX) — Two women are now in custody following an investigation in Belvidere.

Belvidere Police say complaints of a massage parlor led to an investigation of the Hot Stone Spa Massage Parlor int the 2100 block of N. State St. in Belvidere.

A search warrant was executed earlier this week, which led to the arrests of two people.

Mae Haw Roberts, 67, of Belvidere, and Eun M. Lee, 45, of Des Plaines, were taken into custody and charged.

Roberts was charged with two counts of violating the massage licensing act, a class A misdemeanor. Lee was charged with one count of violation of the massage licensing act.

Both women are in custody.
