MADISON (WKOW) — Wisconsin’s men’s basketball assistant coach Howard Moore and his family were involved in a fatal car accident in Michigan Saturday morning, according to reports from the Big Ten Network.
Moore’s wife and daughter were killed, according to the report. Moore and his son survived. (Below is a tweet Moore posted for Mother’s Day.)

Police say a 23-year-old Ann Arbor woman driving the wrong way on M-14 near Ford Road in Washtenaw County’s Superior Township caused a head-on collision that killed her along with a woman and child in another vehicle.
Preliminary Investigation on M-14/Ford Rd fatal crash indicates the driver of the vehicle driving the wrong way was a 23 year old female who was pronounced deceased at the scene. A child passenger in the car which was struck head on was also pronounced deceased at the scene.
