ROCKFORD (WREX) — If you know someone who is elderly, injured or has a disability and needs help with certain errands, there is now a new business in Rockford that can help.

Honey Bee’s Home delivery carrying service provides multiple services only for the people who are elderly, injured or who have a disability. Some of the services they provide include taking customers to places like doctor’s appointments, the pharmacy, grocery stores and back home for one flat fee.

The business also provides public rides to the community.

“The goal is just primarily to be able to help the community out,” Gernetha Bell, Owner of Honey Bee’s Home Delivery Carrying Service says. “To make sure that we’re putting out good service, we’re getting people there punctual, we’re being safe drivers, making sure they got their seat belts on, just things like that.”

Most of the services are available by appointment only from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. each day of the week. The public rides are available 24-7. To make an appointment, call (815)494-4204.
