Rockford man arrested for allegedly stealing from seven businesses

ROCKFORD (WREX)- A Rockford man is now charged with seven counts of burglary for allegedly stealing from seven different businesses.

Michael Fryer Jr., age 36 was originally arrested on February 11 for burglary.

On Wednesday, after a joint investigation between Rockford and Loves Park Police, he was charged with six more counts.

Fryer Jr. allegedly stole from: Miss Jills, Scanlan’s, Molly’s Deli, Rockford Billiards Cafe, BJ’s Place, Flamingo Slots and Mardi Gras Slots.

Police did not say what he stole, or when. Police say the investigation is still ongoing.
