LOVES PARK – Belvidere North and Boylan moved their soccer game to the Indoor Sports Center Tuesday night due to the rainy weather and poor field conditions, and the Lady Titans remained perfect in NIC-10 play with an 8-0 win over the Lady Thunder.

Brooke Parnello and Frankie Schiro showed off their chemistry on the indoor field, with Parnello scoring a hat trick in the 1st half and Schiro scoring two goals. They also assisted on a few of each other’s goals, displaying a synergy built from years of playing together.

Sophomore Gwen Dannenberg and freshmen Mae Nuccio and Olivia Fabiano also scored for the Lady Titans. Boylan travels to Freeport Thursday in a battle for 1st place in the NIC-10. Both teams come into the game undefeated in conference play.

In other high school sports action, Boylan’s volleyball team knocked off Hononegah, 2-0, to remain in control of the NIC-10 standings.
