Eisenhower Middle School boys bowling team wins state title

ROCKFORD (WREX) — The boys bowling team at Eisenhower Middle School brought home a state title over the weekend.

The team won the IESA State Bowling Championship this weekend in Joliet. The Eisenhower team had a final score of 7,455, edging out the Harlem Middle School team, which finished at 7,387.

The Eisenhower team is made up by Campbell Russo, Nick Reeves, Devan Skridla, Job Salberg, Jacob Smith and Wyatt Derry.

Skridla, an eighth grader at the school, also won the individual state championship.

In the girls tournament, Freeport came in 4th, Harlem came in 5th, Flinn Middle School came in 6th and Roscoe came in 8th.
