ROCKFORD (WREX) — A Rockford business is supporting the development of the family justice center with a fundraiser.

Nothing Bundt Cakes on S. Perryville Road is donating a portion of its sales Saturday toward the justice center.

The family justice center will be a one-stop-shop to help survivors of domestic violence in Rockford.

Nothing Bundt Cakes says it thinks the community needs a service like that in the area.

“We have an opportunity to partner with the mayor’s office and the city for the family justice center program,” Co-Owner David Caulk said. “They’re trying to get it off the ground and we think that this is a good way to bring some light to the community as to what’s going on and what they can do to promote it.”

20 percent of sales at Nothing Bundt Cakes will go toward the justice center on Saturday, April 13. It’s open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and it’s located at  881 S Perryville Rd Suite 200.
