STILLMAN VALLEY (WREX) — A Stillman Valley teen has some bragging rights to bring home after she got on camera at the Today Show!

On the March 27 episode of the show a camera caught Irene Knarr holding up a pink sign that said, “Here from Stillman Valley, Illinois.” Knarr, a sophomore at Stillman Valley High School, was in New York City with her family on spring break and decided to go to the Today Show as a part of the trip.

Knarr also got to take a picture with Al Roker!

“It’s really cool to see how many people noticed it and appreciate the fact that someone represented Stillman Valley on the Today Show and I just think it’s super cool that I was the person who was representing,” said Knarr.

Knarr says she even made it on Al Roker’s Instagram!
