Man arrested for driving truck into crowd, hitting several people in California

FULLERTON, Ca. (NBC) –  A truck drove into a crowd of people in southern California early Sunday morning leaving nine people with injuries.

Fullerton Police say 22-year-old Christopher Solis of Anaheim drove his Toyota Tacoma up onto a busy sidewalk hitting several people.

He’s under arrest on suspicion of felony DUI.

When officers arrived, they found several people trapped underneath the truck.

A total of 10 people were transported to the hospital with injuries ranging from moderate to life-threatening.

The area was crowded with people, as bars in the area were closing.
