The Harlem girls bowling team continued its run of dominance through the sport, winning the IHSA sectional title at Don Carter Lanes to send the Lady Huskies back to the Cherry Bowl as they chase a state three-peat.

The back-to-back state champs piled up 6,320 pins, beating out the next closest team total by more than 400 pins. Sycamore, South Elgin, and Freeport were the four qualifying teams out of the sectional to go to state.

Harlem senior Rebecca Hagerman won the individual regional title last week and followed that up with an individual sectional honor, posting a 1,362 score at the top of the leaderboard.

Carrie Minnier of Guilford, Tegan Peterson of East, and Caitlyn Bannister of Auburn advanced to state as individuals.
