Vic Fangio hired to become the Denver Broncos next Head Coach

CHICAGO (WREX) — The Chicago Bears will be looking for a new Defensive Coordinator after Vic Fangio signed an agreement to become the Denver Broncos Head Coach.

Vangio has been with the Bears since 2015, taking over the worst ranked scoring defense in the league. In Fangio’s final season with the team, they had the best scoring defense in the league.

The Bears defense helped lead them to their first Division title since 2010, when the Bears went to the playoffs and lost in the NFC Title Game.

The Bears lost to the defending Super Bowl Champion Philadelphia Eagles this past Sunday at Soldier Field in Chicago, ending their 2018 season.

Fangio will take over the Broncos who finished 6-10 and missed the playoffs for the second straight year.

The Bears head to the Mile High City to face the Broncos in 2019.
