(WREX) — Shopko may be filing for bankruptcy after a lawsuit is filed against them for nearly $70 million.
The Green Bay Press Gazette reports a pharmaceutical supplier says they’re owed $67 million from Shopko. The company announced in court on Tuesday, it’s expected to file for bankruptcy on January 15th.
Shopko has two stores in the stateline, one in Belivdere and one in Freeport.
If the company files for bankruptcy, it is unclear if or when the stores in Freeport and Belvidere would close.
