Man sentenced to 12 years in prison for selling heroin in Boone County

BOONE COUNTY (WREX) — A man will spend 12 years in prison for dealing heroin in Boone County.

Mitchell B. Tucker II pleaded guilty to drug dealing charges earlier this month, according to the Boone County State’s Attorney’s Office.

The charges stem from a Nov. 8 2017 traffic stop where the Illinois State Police found more than 150 grams of heroin in Tucker’s car.

He was sentenced on Nov. 16.
