Man charged in deadly Boone County crash

BOONE COUNTY (WREX) — A Sycamore man faces multiple charges for his role in a deadly crash in Boone County that killed a father and his son.

The crash happened in March 2018 when authorities say Corey Lee drove through a stop sign and struck a truck, killing the driver, 22-year-old Pedro Pasillas Delgado, and his father, 52-year-old Pedro Pasillas.

Lee, 30 of Sycamore, is now faces multiple charges, including two counts of reckless homicide and aggravated DUI of cannabis in an accident resulting in death.

Lee was arrested seven months after the crash and charged on Nov. 1. He was released from the Boone County Jail after posting 10 percent of a $250,000 bond.
