FBI releases photos of suspected bank robbers


ROCKFORD (WREX) — The FBI has released photos of three suspects they believe were involved in a bank robbery Wednesday in Rockford.

Law enforcement was called Wednesday afternoon to the Northwest Bank on Rockfton Avenue, according to the Winnebago County Sheriff’s Department.

K9 units with the department were on scene searching for suspects.

The FBI says one suspect wore a gray backpack, dark jeans and a black winter coat. A second suspect wore a gray Nike hooded sweatshirt and black pants. And a third suspect wore a black hooded sweatshirt, a dark-colored jacket, gray sweatpants and black shoes.

The FBI is offering a reward of up to $1,000 for information that leads to an arrest.
