CALEDONIA (WREX) – Students are getting hands-on experience about what it’s like to run a restaurant.
CEANCI hosted its annual culinary competition. 2018 had a new theme, “farm to table.” Students got the chance to learn the process from growing organic food to preparing it safely for a panel of judges.
“It’s important for them to understand going back to basics and the benefits, the nutrients, that you’re not getting chemical things in your body, that you’re actually getting natural things,” CEANCI Community Outreach Coordinator Beth Mead said.
CEANCI hosted this year’s culinary competition at Angelic Organics.
