Rockford man sentenced to 15-and-a-half years in prison for drug and gun charges

ROCKFORD (WREX) – A Rockford man was sentenced to 15-and-a-half years in prison for drug and gun charges.

Attorneys say Derrick Neville Jr. was arrested for having crack cocaine, heroin and a stolen firearm in an apartment where he was staying. He also admitted that he intended to sell it.

The 28-year-old will also have three years of supervised release after his sentence.
