Rockford Bus involved in Machesney Park crash

UPDATE: MACHESNEY PARK (WREX) – No serious injuries after a Rockford bus is involved a two vehicle crash in Machesney Park.

Police say the driver of the other vehicle was taken to the hospital with non life threatening injuries. No word on how many people were on the bus at the time of the crash, but one passenger told officials they felt whiplash after the crash.

It happened just after 6:30 a.m. near Old Harlem Road and Victory Lane.

Details on how the crash happened are not available at this time.


MACHESNEY PARK (WREX) – A bus from the city of Rockford was involved in a crash on early Tuesday morning.

It happened at the corner of Old Harlem Road and Victory Lane just before 7 a.m.

Details on what happened are limited at this time, but it was a two vehicle crash. No word on any injuries at this time as well.

Traffic is being rerouted at this time.
