Update: No injuries reported after fire at Crop Production Services near Dixon

DIXON (WREX) – 13 WREX has learned there were no injuries after a fire at Crop Production Services (CPS) near Dixon early this morning.

A representative from the Amboy Fire Department tells us fire crews are still on scene of the fire, which broke out sometime after 3 a.m. Friday.

Around noon Friday, officials held a news conference to say no injuries or deaths occurred, and that road closures and evacuations have been canceled.

Crop Production Services is located at 1076 Corregidor Road in Dixon, just south of Highway 30, about 10 miles from downtown Dixon and about 4 miles from downtown Amboy.  Crop Production Services has another location near Amboy, but that is not the site of the fire.

13 News has a crew on the way to the scene and we will bring you more information as soon as it becomes available.
