After investigation, Rockford man linked to more crimes in the area

ROCKFORD (WREX) — A Rockford man faces new charged linked to several crimes in the city, according to the Rockford Police Department.

Officials say on Sept. 1, officers arrested Jawan Robinson-Jones, 28, for aggravated battery to a senior citizen and attemped robbery for an incident that happened in the 1200 block of 7th Street.

On Wednesday, Robinson-Jones was received additional charges of burglary to Goodwill on East State Street. Police say he is also charged with armed robbery for an armed robbery back in August at Kwik Mart on 7th Street.
