Victim shot in Rockford Thursday night, suffers non-life-threatening injury

ROCKFORD (WREX) – One person suffered a non-life-threatening injury after being shot Thursday night in Rockford.

According to Rockford police, officers responded to a local hospital where they found the victim. The individual says he was in the 600 block of St. Louis Ave. when he was hit with gunfire.
