Illinois State Fair butter cow bears spelling mistake

A butter cow was unveiled at the Illinois state fairgrounds yesterday, but there appears to be an "udderly" ridiculous mistake.

The cow, which has been a staple of the fair since the 1920’s, is meant to celebrate Illinois’ bicentennial this year.

However, when the butter bovine was revealed, people noticed the word "bicentennial" was spelled wrong on the display.

The almost 600-hundred lb butter cow was sculpted by an Iowa couple and took about 96 hours to make.

As one of the most photographed attractions of the fair, the spelling error will be fixed soon.
