Former Rockford doctor pleads guilty to charges involving inappropriately touching patients

A former Rockford doctor accused of inappropriately touching his patients pleads guilty to the charges against him.

The Winnebago County State’s Attorney says Charles Dehaan pled guilty to three counts of Aggravated Battery. Three people reported Dehaan touched them inappropriately during their home health care appointments. Two of the victims were over the age of 60, and another had a physical disability.

Prosecutors say the abuse happened between October of 2010 and December of 2013.

Dehaan faces up to 15 years in prison. His sentencing is scheduled for September 20.
