Lindsey Fafoglia

Morning Anchor

Lindsey Fafoglia joined WREX in July of 2018 as a morning anchor on 13 News Today. She recently graduated from the University of Missouri School of Journalism with a degree in broadcast journalism. Lindsey worked as a reporter, producer and anchor at KOMU 8 News in Columbia during her time as a student. She was born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri, but she is excited to live in and learn about the Land of Lincoln!

Lindsey loves being with friends and family, getting outdoors, traveling, and she is happiest where there is water, whether it be a lake, river or an ocean!

She knew she wanted to be in broadcast news after she realized her love for writing and being with people. She always knew she wanted an exciting job where every day is something new. So she found her home in the newsroom!

If you see Lindsey out and about, please stop and say hello!

Little known facts about Lindsey:

  • Both of her parents were born and raised in Springfield, Illinois.
  • She spent a summer working and studying in Barcelona, Spain.
  • She has watched “The Office” from beginning to end at least 5 times.
