Father’s Day spending soars in 2018

Sunday is Father’s Day!

And this year, people are whipping out the wallets for their dads.

Overall spending this Father’s Day is expected to total a near record of $15.3 billion.

According to the National Retail Federation, 34 percent of us plan to shop online, while 25 percent will visit discount stores and 24 percent will head to specialty shops.

A total of 77 percent of Americans will celebrate Father’s Day and spend an average of $133 on dear ol’ dad.
