Paving for pizza: Domino’s wants to repair potholes in your town

Domino’s wants to save your pizza, and is launching contest "Paving for Pizza" in an effort to do so.

The company is helping cities tackle road repairs. It’s already provided funding to help towns in California, Texas, Georgia and Delaware.

"Potholes, cracks and bumps in the road can cause irreversible damage to your pizza during the drive home from Domino’s," the company’s website says. "We can’t stand by and let your cheese slide from side to side, your toppings get un-topped, or your boxes get flipped. So we’re helping to pave in towns across the country to save your good pizza from bad roads."

You can go to the Paving for Pizza website and submit your zipcode for consideration until Aug. 31.
