“Donut Boy” makes stop at Rochelle Police Dept.

A boy who’s gained national attention delivering donuts to cops makes a special stop in Rochelle. 

Tyler Carach is "The Donut Boy" and he loves police. He started a Facebook page called "I Donut Need a Reason to Thank a Police Officer." He explained to 13 WREX why he loves police so much.

"They protect me and my family and friends that are total strangers and they protect everybody else," said Carach. "It makes me happy to know that my heroes and best friends are being thanked."

The young boy has traveled to 30 states and delivered 65,00 donuts to officers.
