Two Rockford men arrested on weapons charges

Rockford Police have announced charges against two Rockford men.

Officials say the incident happened early on Saturday June 9th at a Circle K Gas Station on the 2220 block of W. Riverside.

Police were responding to a report of people arguing from two separate vehicles. 

When police arrived and investigated, they found a loaded handgun in one of the vehicles.

26-year-old Artrael Potts and 23-year-old Rainell Potts were both charged with unlawful use of a weapon.
