17 Guilford High School students commit to serve in the military

Some Guilford High School students graduating soon will commit to serve in the military.

The high school is hosting a military signing night Wednesday at 4 p.m.

17 students will join the armed forces in a number of branches.

Students joining the U.S. Army are: Joseph Battel, Jayden Downen, Allen James Oddo, Ryan Baxter and Benjamin Pineschi.

Students joining the U.S. Marine Corps are:  Malorie Berge, Emma Bowyer, Sadie Kruse, Shaun Lang, Carlos Lopez, Jaydin Jones , Jaylin Jones and Nicholas Kalisz.

Students joining the U.S. National Guard are: Katherin Daza Tavera, Austin Maish, Jada Phommavong and Jose Solares Milian.
