IceHogs Ride Power Play to 2-1 Game 1 Victory Over Wolves

The Rockford IceHogs cashed in on two power play opportunities to start the Calder Cup Playoffs, and took Game 1 in Rosemont, beating the Chicago Wolves, 2-1, for a 1-0 first round series lead.

Tyler Sikura and Adam Clendening scored in the first and second periods, respectively, and that was plenty for starting goalie Collin Delia, who made 31 saves in net for the IceHogs to preserve the victory.

The road win hands the IceHogs home ice advantage in the best-of-five series, which shifts to the BMO Harris Bank Center on Sunday for Game 2. The puck drops at 4:00 pm.
