NIC-10 Sweeps Rising Stars Classic Doubleheader

The Rising Stars Classic has become an annual staple of the spring in the Rockford region, with high school seniors earning one last hurrah on the hardwood.

This year’s NIC-10 versus All-Area (Big Northern and NUIC) doubleheader saw the NIC-10 sweep the two games – the boys hung on for a 124-116 victory, while the girls used a big second half en route to a 75-52 victory.

Harlem’s Anaiah Moore and Auburn’s Yahmir Muhammad earned game MVP honors, respectively.
