I-90 Rivalry in Playoffs: IceHogs, Wolves to Meet in Round 1

The Rockford IceHogs and Chicago Wolves will face off in the first round of the 2018 Calder Cup Playoffs.

The Illinois Lottery Cup rivals, separated by 75 miles down I-90 between the BMO Harris Bank Center and AllState Arena in Rosemont, will also wrap up the regular season against each other, with the Wolves taking Friday night’s game in Rockford by a 6-4 margin. Saturday’s regular season finale is in Rosemont.

Here is the first round playoff schedule for the best-of-five series, with dates, times, and locations listed below:

Game 1 – Saturday, April 21 at Wolves, 7:00 pm

Game 2 – Sunday, April 22 at IceHogs, 4:00 pm

Game 3 – Thursday, April 26 at Wolves, 7:00 pm

*Game 4 – Sunday, April 29 at IceHogs, 4:00 pm

*Game 5 – Monday, April 30 at Wolves, 7:00 pm
