Andi TenBarge

Evening Reporter

Andi joined the WREX team as a multimedia Journalist in June of 2017. She’s originally from Indianapolis, Indiana and graduated from Franklin College with a degree in Multimedia Journalism. Throughout college, Andi interned for WISH-TV and WRTV-6 in Indianapolis. She also spent four years covering the Indiana General Assembly for TheStatehouseFile.com, a political news site powered by Franklin College journalism students. This opportunity gave her the chance to travel to Des Monies and Detroit to cover the primary presidential races in 2016. She was also able to report for TSF at the Democratic National Convention in Philadelphia later that year.

When Andi isn’t working, she’s either trying out one of Rockford’s awesome local restaurants or she’s catching up on her favorite Netflix show.

Little known facts about Andi:

  • My favorite day of the year is the running of the Indianapolis 500 because it gives me an excuse to spend the day with my family out in the sun enjoying the greatest spectacle in racing.
  • I am a sucker for a great crock-pot recipe. If you have any suggestions, send them my way.
  • My favorite Netflix shows are Criminal Minds, House of Cards and The West Wing.
