Two arrested, one wanted after Beloit homicide

BELOIT (WREX) — Two people have been arrested in connection to a homicide in Beloit.

Elontae M. Phiffer, 18, of Beloit, and Damon E. Allen, 19, of Beloit, are charged with first degree intentional homicide as a party to a crime.

Police say a third suspect, Journee R. Weathers, 19, of Beloit, is wanted on a first degree intentional homicide charge.

Authorities say it happened just before 11:30 a.m. in the 1700 block of Porter Ave. on Monday.

The Rock County District Attorney's Office says the shooting happened after an argument over a car payment.

Witnesses on scene identified Weathers as being the shooter, police say.
