ROCKFORD (WREX) - With Mother's Day coming up on Sunday, a program continues to help mothers in our area.

Two men and a Truck brought donations to remedies renewing lives, as part of its movers for moms program.

The program collects items for mothers living in domestic abuse or homeless shelters.

Things like bath towels, wash clothes and toothbrushes. $500.00 dollars was also donated.

Two men and a Truck says it wants every mother to feel special on her day. Regardless of circumstances.

"It's just so important to give back, especially right now. This has been such a hard year for all of us. And so any little thing that you can do, whether it's buying a pack of diapers and dropping it in a box at a donation center or making a financial donation to Remedies at any time of the year, it's so important to just go ahead and do that," says Shannen Eden, Marketing Director at Two men and a Truck.

Two Men and a Truck has run the Movers for Moms program for 15 years.
