ROCKFORD (WREX) - The 2021 Rockford Cars & Coffee officially kicked off on Saturday, April 3rd.
The Local Enthusiasts Club and Screw City Jeeps were the featured clubs of this event, which took place at the RPS 205 administration building parking lots across the street from Katie's Cup.
“It’s almost like starting fresh. It’s good to get out and kind of put the COVID thing behind us,” says Curt Kellermann, Cars and Coffee Organizer.
This year the event was hosted by "YouRockVibe815" with featured appearances by the Easter Bunny, support from the Patriots Gateway Community Center staff and volunteers.
Over 300 people were in attendance and 175 cars were registered.
"Cars & Coffee shows provide an opportunity for people to talk about their cars and visit over coffee. We are thrilled with the turnout," said Kellermann.
The event will happen the first Saturday of the month until September from 9 a.m. until noon.
