Rocktown Adventures showcases kayak fishing tips virtually

ROCKFORD (WREX) — People in the Stateline were able to learn about kayak fishing online thanks to a local outdoor shop.

Rocktown Adventures hosted a Fakebook live show on Saturday.

Usually around this time, the store spends it's weekends traveling to trade shows to talk about this topic.

But because of the pandemic, Rocktown Adventures decided to host a virtual show for people to enjoy.

"This will hopefully engage you on the ways you can enjoy the outdoors. We got a lot of paddling things, paddleboards, kayak boards, and this year, we are going to see our kayak fishers head to water first out there," said Kevin Versino.
