Rocktown Adventures to hold Virtual Kayak Fishing Show

ROCKFORD (WREX) — For those who are interested in learning more about what is happening in the world of kayak fishing, a Rockford business has an event coming up to help them out.

Rocktown Adventures is holding a Virtual Kayak Fishing Show on Saturday. The event will include information for everyone interested in the sport. Brian Schiller, who leads the Rocktown Adventures Kayaking Team and hosts the Paddle N Fin podcast will host the class. Leads from Bonafide Kayaks, Jackson Kayak, Old Town Canoe and NuCanoe will also be available to show to answer questions.

“Baking bread, countless puzzles, knitting… most have heard about some of the unusual hobbies people have picked up while quarantining for the last year. But the kayaking industry also saw a massive spike of interest last year and we’re expecting the same as the weather warms up,” said Rocktown AdventuresGeneral Manager Kevin Versino in a press release. “Our Virtual Kayak Fishing Show will have helpful information for everyone interested in kayak fishing, from those just getting into the sport to experienced anglers.”
