OREGON (WREX) — If you have driven by the Pinehill Inn recently, you may have noticed that it still has its Christmas decorations up. There is a reason for that.
According to Co-Owner Ken Williams, the bed and breakfast served as a filming location for a Christmas movie called Lacy's Christmas Do-Over. Talent in the movie got to use the guest rooms while the crew got to use other parts of the building. Williams says there was also filming done at Sinnissippi Trees Farm and Forest. He adds that filming brought a lot of benefits to the community.
"They had 25 to 30 people that came in and they ordered lunches and dinners and breakfasts and provided funding into the community by supporting the restaurants and that," said Williams.
Williams says he does not know when the movie will premier or what network it will be on, but he was told to expect the movie to premier around Christmas.
