SYCAMORE, Ill. (WREX) — A death investigation is underway after two people are dead following a shooting in Sycamore.

The Sycamore Police Department says they responded to reports of a shooting on Sunday afternoon in the 1800 block of Coltonville Rd.

When officers arrived on scene, they found two people dead inside the apartment.

The DeKalb County Coroner's Office identified the bodies as Sarah Roesch, 49, of Shabbona, and Connor Roesch, 26, of Sycamore. Police say Sarah was Connor's mother.
